Guy Pelham led the move of BBC Newsgathering to a multimedia HQ in central London. He was closely involved in the design of the main newsroom (below) where TV, radio and online operations are fully integrated.
The move presented major challenges: changes to long-established ways of working, training teams on new equipment, and the need to keep output seamlessly on air during the transition into the new building
Guy Pelham has used the experience and contacts gained during this project to advise other leading news organisations wishing to revamp their newsroom operation.
He is a BBC-trained project manager
